About The Position

We are seeking a n Student Extern f or the Coronary Care Department at St Joseph Medical Center. The Extern will be an adjunct to the patient care team working under a Nurse every step of the way. Requirements

Successfully completed Fundamentals of Nursing class
Enrolled in an accredited RN Nursing Program (ADN OR BSN)
Successfully completed the first semester of an RN nursing program
Must be in good and academic standing
Current Basic Life Support Certification

Nice To Haves

Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

Adjunct to the total care team
Will function in the capacity of an assistant, once cleared by a Supervisor, they will be moved to the appropriate skill level.
