The Student Enrichment Coordinator (Community Education) is responsible for coordinating the assessment, development, and implementation of community education programs. This is an exempt position requiring 260 days of work at 4 hours per day. The role reports to the Assistant Superintendent of Student Advancement and involves planning and implementing a variety of sustainable programs that meet the cultural, educational, recreational, and social needs of the community and school district. The coordinator will direct and deliver effective program services, cultivate a supportive work environment, and ensure program activities are self-sustaining.

  • Manages all marketing activities including advertising, media presentations, newsletters, and registration materials.
  • Coordinates the development and distribution of seasonal program brochures.
  • Monitors the accuracy of internal-external communications.
  • Conducts outreach activities to encourage program attendance and participation.
  • Manages/updates the community education website.
  • Oversees program registration procedures and manages participant records.
  • Processes vendor invoices and staff payments.
  • Manages rental agreements and collection of fees.
  • Maintains a complete audit trail for all financial transactions.
  • Encourages donations from businesses, civic groups, and individuals.
  • Prepares purchase requisitions and maintains procurement records.
  • Provides opportunities for program participants to critique activities and suggest enhancements.
  • Maintains effective document and records management systems.
  • Evaluates program outcomes and identifies opportunities to enhance operational efficacy.
  • Analyzes key program performance indicators to align budget proposals with strategic district goals.
  • Preserves reference materials for future programs.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Business administration certificate is desirable.
  • Community program management skills verified by training and/or relevant work experience.
  • Ability to implement office administration principles.
  • Data management skills including software navigation, file organization, and tracking/analysis.
  • Ability to develop and implement clear pathways to successfully achieve program objectives.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a willingness to take on challenging tasks.
