Department: CHP | Student Employees and Trainees Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: The Student Employee will support the research activities of the Occupational Therapy Lab. Responsibilities include assisting with data collection, entry, and organization; preparing research materials; conducting literature reviews; maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies; and providing general administrative support to faculty and graduate students.

Requirements

  • Must be a current student in the UAMS UARK Occupational Therapy Program (preferably a 2nd year student).
  • Strong time-management skills, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with research activities – Support data collection, entry, and organization; help prepare study materials; and contribute to literature reviews and project documentation.
  • Support lab operations – Maintain equipment, supplies, and files; assist with scheduling and coordinating research participants; and provide general administrative support.
  • Collaborate with faculty and students – Work closely with the research team to ensure projects run smoothly, communicate progress, and contribute to a positive and professional lab environment.
  • Perform other duties/tasks as assigned.
