Student Employee / Federal Work Study Recipient - Welding Lab Maintenance Assistant
About The Position
Provide assistance and support to students and faculty in the welding lab. Primary responsibility is to maintain a safe and productive learning environment for students while they engage in welding activities. Provide an exceptional customer service experience to both internal and external customers throughout every interaction. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent. Must be currently enrolled in classes at Lakeshore College.
- Student must be currently enrolled in or previously completed the Welding program at Lakeshore College.
Nice To Haves
- Fluent, bilingual student is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on welding equipment.
- Preparation of welding materials and equipment.
- Fabrication projects for weld shop.
- Assist the instructor with every day operation of the weld shop.
