About The Position
The Student Employee position at the EKU Center for the Arts is designed for students enrolled at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) who are looking to gain valuable work experience while providing essential services to patrons and clients. This role encompasses various responsibilities, including but not limited to working as a Box Office Associate, Patron Service Representative, Parking Attendant, Artist Services Attendant, Event Staff/Manager, Stagehand, and Stage Technician. Each of these roles is crucial in ensuring that guests have a positive experience at the EKU Center for the Arts. Successful candidates will be expected to provide excellent customer service, demonstrating a commitment to creating quality experiences for all visitors. The position requires individuals to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, maintaining a positive and flexible demeanor throughout their shifts. The work schedule is part-time, with a maximum of 20 hours per week, although students may work up to 29 hours during non-enrollment periods.
