About The Position

The student worker is responsible for positively representing North Central Michigan College when working at games or with external parties. A high level of customer service is expected to warmly welcome all students, faculty, staff and visitors working to establish a quality first impression. No more than 20 hours per week; with a shift schedule built around a students' class schedule and/or game days.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at NCMC.
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and excellence in customer service.
• Awareness of and appreciation for individual uniqueness and diversity.
• Experience with basic computer tasks and telephone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Assists with laundering uniforms, setting up equipment, or assisting during games.
• Conducts self in a professional manner and is attentive to all.
• Maintains a positive and helpful approach to people interactions by being enthusiastic and personable.
• Is punctual, reliable, and conscientious in the performance of all duties.
• Maintains an organized and cleanly work space.
• Other related duties as assigned.
