About The Position

The Student Experience Specialist plays a pivotal role in the student onboarding experience. Develops, implements, and evaluates the orientation experience for onboarding new students. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high quality information and delivery. Utilizes strong organizational, communication, and design skills to ensure quality student onboarding experiences for unique student populations.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree
• A minimum of less than a year of related experience.
• May possess some additional job-specific training.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree
• A minimum of 2-3 years of related experience.
• May possess appropriate licensures or certifications with some advanced training.

Responsibilities

• Partners with other academic divisions, programs and student support structures to update orientation content and design.
• Monitors student completion rates and speeds, collects data for further evaluation.
• Provides administrative support to the Student Development office.
• Aids in development of faculty professional development programming.
• Provides support to faculty involved in student development initiatives.
• Oversees all aspects of the online orientation module including design, content integration, pathway differentiation, completion of monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Provides support for Open House events and other orientation experiences.
