Learn more about our various program areas at https://studentlife.tamu.edu/ . We are seeking a Student Development Specialist II to join Student Life’s New Student & Family Programs team. This role provides day-to-day oversight of the Aggie Parent & Family Ambassador student organization, manages the Parents of the Year award program, and assists with the planning and execution of large-scale programs such as New Student Conferences, Family Weekend, and Howdy Week. The Student Development Specialist II supports our mission of fostering successful student transition, retention, and persistence to graduation through intentional student and family engagement. The ideal candidate has experience advising student organizations, strong written and verbal communication skills, is highly organized and collaborative, and is familiar with orientation, transition, and retention programs or initiatives. This position is well-suited for someone who enjoys balancing program coordination, relationship-building, and student development work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
