The University of Arkansas at Little Rock seeks applications for the position of Student Development Specialist/Coordinator, a 12-month full-time, provisional position in the TRIO Talent Search Program, a higher education access program for high school-age youth. The position is grant-funded and is contingent upon annual federal appropriation. The Student Development Specialist/coordinator is responsible for implementing a postsecondary access strategy for eligible high school participants. The coordinator will implement the tutoring and summer programs, conduct high school visits, and provide these services: advising, career exploration, study skills, exposure to college campuses, college admissions, and financial aid application assistance. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
