The Student Development Advisor supports initiatives within the department which includes case management, administrative duties, and special projects. Tasks are related to student community involvement, student rights, responsibility, and concerns. This person will provide internal and local community support resources.

Requirements

  • Proficiency using software programs such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in the following fields preferred: Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, Liberal Studies
  • 2+ Years Experience working in Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, Counseling or Social Services preferred
  • Proficiency using Campus Vue and SalesForce a plus

Responsibilities

  • Case management, documentation and reporting for: Victimization Domestic Violence Discrimination Food Pantry/Bus Pass: stocking, shipping and distribution Homelessness Health/Mental health: suicide ideation/assessment Medical issues and Injuries Natural Disasters Pandemic/Epidemic Family Emergencies
  • Assists with crisis intervention and threat assessment
  • Harassment, Bullying
  • Jean Clery/VAWA/SAVE: Stalking, Sexual Assault
  • Code of Conduct: Provide review for students in violation
  • Assist cohort of students currently on Conduct Probation
  • Student Grievances Form process
  • Pay to Retake process
  • Outreach
  • Maintain a strong and positive relationship with Security, Reception, Housing, Academic Advising, Student Success and other departments.
  • Maintain a strong and positive relationship with community programs and services.
  • Basic team management to oversee Federal Work Study Students and Interns.
  • Adheres to the policies and procedures of Full Sail University
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of company and personnel information
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to the mission and values of the organization
  • Adheres to company attendance standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned
