About The Position

The Student Data Specialist is responsible for maintaining the integrity of Prek-12 student data within the Sartell-St. Stephen Independent School District. This role involves managing new student enrollments, ensuring accurate student records for reporting, and providing support for the student information system. The position requires collaboration with various staff members and serves as a key point of contact for Skyward-related initiatives.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in computer science, accounting, business administration, office management or related area.
• 3 years of data management experience.
• Knowledge of general office procedures, equipment, current technologies and software applications.
• 1-3 years of prior work related experience.
• Customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Database maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with student information reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage all new student enrollments.
• Ensure integrity of the student information system, including updating student records for reporting purposes.
• Coordinate the Common Course Catalog reporting process.
• Maintain the school district census system by obtaining essential information and entering it into Skyward.
• Serve as a point-person for Skyward related initiatives.
• Work with building level staff to facilitate consistency.
• Welcome visitors and new families to the District Service Center and assist with office tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties of a comparable level/type, as required.
