About The Position
The Newman University is looking for a student worker to assist the custodial services team. This position generally works in the evenings.
Requirements
- Must be a current Newman University student enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 credit hours)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be punctual and able to start shift on time
- Must have comfortable clothes and shoes - gloves will be provided
Responsibilities
- Vacuuming room carpets and dorm room floors
- Sweeping hallways, gym floors, bleacher stands, etc.
- Clean all restrooms, lobbies, public areas, student rooms, etc. according to established daily practices:
- Floor scrubbing/mopping
- Trash removal
- Stocking paper supplies
- Glass cleaning and polishing
- Sink and toilet bowl sanitation
- Moving tables and chairs
- Cleaning equipment, etc
- Complete University-required trainings including FERPA and Title IX
