About The Position
Penn State Behrend, Youth Education Outreach department is seeking graduating high school seniors or current college students interested in spending their summer days working with children at the university's College for Kids Summer Enrichment Program. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older, have valid transportation to and from the program, and be available to work all six weeks of College for Kids. Successful candidates will have an enthusiasm for working with youth, and the ability to actively participate in the enrichment programs to engage the participants in a fun, friendly, and exuberant environment. This is a 35-40 hour a week part-time position for the duration of the six-week program. College for Kids typically begins in early-mid June and runs through the end of July or first week of August with the week of the Fourth of July off. Coordinators must be able to work the entirety of the camp. No weekends or evenings required. The position is perfect for graduating seniors or current college students interested in education, psychology, social work, or other related fields. Recent college graduates may apply as well!
