The Student Care and Conduct team within the Division of Student Affairs is seeking to hire a Student Conduct Specialist IV or V. The Student Conduct Specialist serves as a non-academic student conduct officer, independently responding to students in distress and engaging with stakeholders to understand University conduct processes and polices. The Conduct Specialist uses Maxient Conduct software to produce student conduct analytics to inform practice and identifies documented cases for review of federal and state law including, but not limited to, the Clery Act. This position provides timely support to departments regarding behavioral concerns and distressed student situations, assists with the development of the Dean of Students policies, procedures, and publications including the Student Handbook, and conducts benchmark studies to assess the current practices of peer institutions, recommend best practices, and generate comprehensive reports to outline recommendations. The Conduct Specialist serves on the Student Affairs On-Call Crisis Team, a 24/7 response team. There is one position available to fill.
