About The Position

Support student club to foster leadership development, communication, and successful programming across the Berklee Community. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Student Club Ambassador supports student clubs through direct service, administrative assistance, and operational support. Responsibilities include: Student Support and Customer Service Serve as a first point of contact for students with club-related questions and needs Hold weekly office hours, including some evening availability, to support student access Support students interested in starting a new club by providing an overview of the club proposal process and answering questions Review club proposals prior to submission to ensure requirements are met and work with students to complete missing components Help connect students to existing clubs by discussing interests and sharing relevant club information Share club meeting times and locations with interested students and assist with follow-up connections Club Operations and Administration Support student club advising workflows, event approvals, and general troubleshooting Assist with Funding Allocation Board (FAB) proposal questions and submissions and help notify clubs of approval status as appropriate Share information related to fundraising, crowdfunding, and available campus resources Assist with room scheduling and event logistics using Event Management System (EMS) Communication and Promotion Assist clubs with poster printing and preparation in coordination with Operation Assistants Support sharing of club posters for digital signage, social media, and monthly calendars Assist with collecting information for club communications, including newsletters and spotlights Support creation of club newsletters, spotlights, or promotional materials using Canva Training and Resource Development Support trainings, workshops, and administrative processes for student clubs Assist with brainstorming club training topics and support needs Help create agendas, handouts, and how-to guides that support club leaders Maintain organized records and documentation to support club operations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience participating in or leading a student club
  • Familiarity with EMS, Canva, or similar platforms
  • Interest in student leadership, engagement, or community-building
  • Comfort troubleshooting basic tech or process questions
  • Creativity in developing communication or engagement ideas
  • Familiarity with campus resources and involvement opportunities
