About The Position

IMEG is hiring a Mechanical Student Clerk in Omaha, NE, to support project teams with research, documentation, and day-to-day coordination needs. In this role, you’ll help maintain organized project records and contribute to accurate, complete deliverables that support high-quality, code-compliant design work. You’ll gain exposure to mechanical engineering work supporting HVAC and high-performance building systems alongside experienced professionals.

Requirements

• Interest in engineering consulting
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Modeling software experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with researching resources for commercially available equipment
• Assist with miscellaneous administrative tasks related to engineering or administrative office tasks
• Assist with documenting design decisions, meetings, and instructions from team members
• Assist with review of all project documents for accuracy and completeness
