About The Position
Ursinus College is a selective, independent, co-educational, residential liberal arts college of approximately 1500 students located about 25 miles northwest of center city Philadelphia. Requirements
- Strong writing and general communication skills
- Demonstrated independence and self-motivation
- Familiarity with social media networks and ability to engage the public professionally
- Commitment to inclusive programming and a desire to learn about others
Responsibilities
- Assist the Civic Spark director with logistical planning (activities may include email outreach to speakers or community partners)
- Attend CS meetings
- Advertise CS events and the CS’s work more generally (audiences include campus and Collegeville community members)
- Update/assist in designing the CS webpage
- Develop and engage social media networks when appropriate
