Sphere is looking for a Student Associate to support the venue technical production department in Las Vegas. The associate will have the opportunity to shadow multiple disciplines within the technical production department, with an option to select an area of focus which aligns with their current studies. Areas of focus include video, audio, lighting, automation and rigging, and creative technology. Working in collaboration across the various disciplines within technical production, this role will be embedded within the department as a full member of the team, focusing on hands-on application of skills with tangible contributions to shows at the Sphere. Ideal candidates will be personable, dependable, self-starters who have a strong work ethic and act with a sense of urgency. They will have the ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize and will anticipate the needs of their department and work proactively. Existing work experience in backstage live entertainment is a plus. This position will report to the Sr. Director of Technical Production. Daily duties will be assigned by each Sphere production discipline leader and will relate to the unique needs of each discipline to support the show.
