SRI's Center for Health Sciences is looking for a Student Associate to join our team! The student will help with data collection from participants for projects in the lab. The main project will be the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study. The NIH-sponsored ABCD Study is a multi-site nationwide study following 10,000 children for 10 years. It is the largest study to date to examine factors (e.g., sleep, physical activity, stress, trauma, substance use) that influence child and adolescent neurodevelopment. If you’re looking to get experience in a lab conducting cutting-edge research, apply here! Student associates working on projects in the lab will get experience with clinical interviews, neuropsychological and cognitive testing, collecting bioassays (e.g., hormone levels, DNA samples), and multi-modal MRI scans. The student will work onsite at our Menlo Park, CA office. The position involves working some evenings and weekends, depending on scheduling of participants. We would like the student to start in January 2026.
