About The Position
This Student Assistant position at Texas A&M AgriLife Research, Institute for Advancing Health Through Agriculture, provides office and facility support. The role is a summer-only position, with an end date of August 21, 2026.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at TAMU.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive state vehicles.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office.
- Professional communications including e-mails.
- Customer service attitude.
- Exceptionally organized.
- Team player.
- Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships.

- Familiarity with Concur expense reports
Responsibilities
- Staffs the front desk and is the first point of contact for customers and visitors.
- Sends/receives e-mails for the institute.
- Answers main phone line.
- Orders/organizes supplies.
- Stocks/cleans supply room, kitchen area, and conference rooms.
- Assists with expense reports.
- Processes invoices.
- Runs errands.
- Files/copies/scans/faxes.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
