An interest in, or knowledge of, outdoor recreation and fitness activities is strongly preferred. Note: This position requires availability to work evenings and weekends. Success in this role is supported by hands-on experience in a variety of outdoor recreation activities, such as hiking, camping, rock or ice climbing, paddling (canoeing, kayaking, rafting), and skiing. Ideal candidates will have prior involvement with Outdoor Adventures programs, whether through participation or employment, and should bring a foundational understanding of outdoor leadership and group dynamics. Additional qualifications that enhance success in this role include medical training and other documented certifications related to outdoor recreation, safety, and leadership. These may include, but are not limited to, Swiftwater Rescue, ACA instruction, avalanche safety, AMGA or PCIA training, NOLS coursework, or leadership development classes and certificates.
