About The Position
Join our Team at the College of Coastal Georgia! Located on the southeast Atlantic coast in Brunswick, midway between Savannah, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida, the College of Coastal Georgia is an undergraduate college in the University System of Georgia with an additional outreach through the Camden Center in Kingsland, Georgia. The College provides an affordable and interactive education in the natural beauty and abundant sunshine of Georgia's Golden Isles, an area noted for world-class golf courses and resorts as well as amazing diversity of maritime habitats, wildlife and sea creatures. This is a 19.5 hour per week maximum, part-time student position. This position requires employees who are able to positively represent this Office and the College to various internal and external constituents with a positive and professional demeanor at all times. The student employee must have effective writing, verbal communication skills, and Microsoft Office skills. Student employees must have a high level of integrity as they may come into contact with confidential information. The student will serve as the first point of contact for the office, perform clerical duties, run errands on campus, and assist with special projects and other duties as assigned. Familiarity with Coast, D2L, the Library of Congress classification system, and basic computer support is desirable to assist students using the library.
