The Student Assistant will support the Department of Information Technology as a Tutor on the Statesboro Campus beginning Fall 2025. Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.
Assists students with understanding course material
Assists with labs for lower-level IT courses
Tutors students in multiple courses for both campuses (Remote as needed, or Zoom)
Checks style and formatting for IT assignments
Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.
Successful completion of IT 2431 Computer Programming II
Successful completion of IT 3231 Data Communications
$12.00 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
