The New School Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program is a New York State Education Department-funded program that offers financial, academic, and socio-emotional support for five years of undergraduate study and related educational activities. It is designed specifically for economically and educationally disadvantaged students who might not meet traditional college admissions criteria but demonstrate promise and potential for academic achievement and success. At The New School, the HEOP office is housed under the Office of Equity and Belonging in which they will coordinate, evaluate, and administer academic, and operational activities of the program to foster student growth and success. HEOP Mentors will report to the HEOP Manager. This position is from July 1st - August 8th and is 28 hours per week.
