Position Overview: Reporting to the Humanities Professor of General Education and the General Education Department , this position is responsible for providing assistance and support to instructional design and other related tasks. This is a work study position for full time students at the university not to exceed 10 hours a week, located in Fremont, CA.
Requirements
- Must be registered as a full-time student at SFBU.
- Must have a GPA 3.5 or higher and be in good standing at the university.
- Must have at least one full semester completed at the university.
- Must have knowledge of design theory as it relates to teaching and learning.
- Must have competence and skills in Canvas, Canva, and other technologies needed to assist with curriculum development and support.
- Demonstrated strong commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice.
Nice To Haves
- Must be currently pursuing a Masters degree at SFBU at time of work-related duties.
- Must have a background and knowledge of design theory and leadership development experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with classroom technology.
- Procure items for in class activities.
- Ensure learning outcomes align with APP course objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
