This position is located in Clark County. Responsibilities will be moderate and less routine and will require responsibility and good judgement. May coordinate activities for other student employees. Requires providing excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a professional environment. Requires previous experience and knowledge or skill in student assistant role. Represent the department and the university with the highest degree of integrity applying OSU mission and shared values. The student assistant will support 4-H youth development educational programming and outreach engagement in Clark County, Ohio. The interns will work directly with 4-H Extension professionals and staff. The intern will support 4-H Youth Development programs designed for youth audiences including but not limited to 4-H camping, membership engagement in skill-a-thons, project judging and evaluation, urban youth outreach engagement, 4-H programming at the Clark County Fair, team building and leadership development with teens and more. Assist in preparing educational materials, data entry for program evaluation, and competitive events and participation in professional and public meetings. Hours are flexible. This position can work up to 28 hours if taking classes and up to 38 hours during the summer and/or academic breaks.
