About The Position

This position supports the Atlanta Stetson-Hatcher School of Business team in two key areas: Peer Tutoring Administrative Support Peer Tutoring Responsibilities: Provide academic assistance to graduate students in courses you have successfully completed, such as: Business Statistics Statistics for Business Analytics Foundations of Programming Marketing Analytics Visual Reporting Advanced Statistics, etc. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while supporting student learning. Administrative Responsibilities: Answer phone calls and manage incoming/outgoing mail Perform data entry and basic analysis Create flyers and maintain paper/electronic records Assist with Student Services events and special projects Other duties as assigned by the Director of Student Services

Requirements

  • Applicants must have earned at least a B+ in relevant business courses.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
  • Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
  • The student assistant will also maintain a professional appearance, work with various computer applications and software, such as Excel, and Word, as well as assist faculty, staff, and students when needed.
