About The Position

This student internship supports critical functions within our state 4-H livestock events both before and during the Ohio State Fair. The OSF is committed to providing a state junior fair that will include events supported by our team including: the Avian Quiz Bowls, General Livestock Judging Contest, in-person all-species State Skillathons, and the State Fair Outstanding Market and Breeding Exhibitor program. In addition, this internship will carry on our efforts to provide 11 species of Skillathons through virtual state-level Skillathons that continue to reach new 4-H’ers and 3 breeding species Skillathons digitally at the Ohio State Fair. The responsibilities of the internships will include the development of content for in-person and virtual skillathons; working with Skillathon superintendents to develop and organize content for in-person Skillathons; communicating with volunteers during organizing and conducting OSF youth events; and working at the youth events throughout the OSF.
