For Spring 2026 , McCombs School of Business is seeking a motivated, detail oriented, and tech savvy student analyst to support the Data Analytics and Strategy team within Career Management & Corporate Relations . The Data Analytics and Strategy team provides data, reporting, and technology support that drives strategic decision making and ensures accurate reporting of student outcomes. The Student Analyst will gain hands-on experience in data quality management, business intelligence tools, and technology systems while contributing to real projects that impact students, employers, and leadership.

Requirements

Must be a University of Texas at Austin student, enrolled for at least 6 credit hours.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort working with data.
Ability to follow processes accurately and document work clearly.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Smartsheet, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools.
Experience working with databases or data entry.
Strong problem solving and communication skills.
Interest in data management, reporting, or business analytics.
Open to work-study award for the semester.

Responsibilities

Perform quality assurance (QA) reviews on data for annual reporting and accreditation standards.
Document internal workflows and processes for knowledge management.
Support updates and reporting in Smartsheet and Tableau dashboards.
Assist with system maintenance tasks in 12twenty (Recruit McCombs), such as troubleshooting and updates.
Provide ad hoc project support related to data analysis, reporting, or process improvement.
