About The Position

The School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences seeks a Student Services Advisor & Administrator, who will contribute to the success of the Student Affairs Office in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences through supporting a variety of student services and administrative support. Applies professional student services concepts, policies and procedures in the completion of Student Services assignments for undergraduate and graduate students (BS, MS, and PhD). Provides varied student services to students, faculty, and department/ school management. Works on moderately complex issues. Regularly consults with experienced student services staff in the course of completing increasingly complex assignments. Follows standard practices and procedures. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. Responsibilities include advising undergraduate and graduate students and providing the full range of student services concepts including academic advising, recruitment and admissions support, financial aid processing, student orientation, career counseling support, and assists with student events. Provides day to day administration and operations including ordering supplies, data entry, preparing presentations, managing administrative tasks, and supporting events. Ideal candidates have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to contribute to a dynamic environment.
