About The Position

Achieve Test Prep's mission is to make higher education more accessible and affordable for working adults. Achieve offers live, online instruction, 1-on-1 tutoring and mentoring, and flexible course schedules that empower non-traditional college students to test out of college credits and earn higher level professional licenses. Achieve Test Prep is seeking a compassionate and dependable Student Advisor to join our fully remote Customer Success team. In this role, you’ll support U.S.-based students throughout their educational journey by providing guidance, encouragement, and clear next steps to help them stay motivated and on track. Customer Success Advisors partner closely with customers to drive adoption and satisfaction, leveraging data, internal tools, and AI-powered insights to deliver proactive and personalized support. While this is a remote position, all working hours are aligned to Eastern Standard Time (EST). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, building trust, and making a meaningful impact in students’ lives—while working reliably within a U.S.-based schedule.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer support, advising, or another people-facing role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • A calm, empathetic approach with a genuine desire to help others succeed
  • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple student relationships
  • Comfort working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a team
  • Confident computer skills, including email, CRM, and online tools
  • English (Fluent Only): Must be fully proficient in spoken and written English
  • Availability required during U.S. business hours (Eastern Standard Time)
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional work environment are required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting students or clients in an education or training environment
  • Familiarity with the U.S. education system

Responsibilities

  • Build supportive, long-term relationships by understanding each student’s goals, progress, and challenges
  • Provide personalized guidance to keep students engaged and moving forward academically
  • Support students through onboarding and ensure they feel confident using our systems
  • Proactively identify obstacles and work with students to overcome them
  • Respond to student inquiries with empathy, ownership, and timely follow-up
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in our CRM
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support students with academic or financial-related needs
