About The Position

This position proactively recruits and assists students enrolled in the online Behavior Analysis programs (MA and certificate programs) in the School of Behavior Analysis (SoBA). The role requires excellent detail-oriented and organizational skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, and strong phone skills. Customer service experience with a proven track record for going beyond the call of duty to assist customers and proactively meet their needs is essential. The position involves managing support services for prospective and current students, including program and class selection, advising, and other academic needs related to student success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent detail-oriented and organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong phone skills.
  • Customer service experience with a proven track record.
  • Excellent computer skills, including extensive experience with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and manage support services for prospective and current students in the SoBA online programs.
  • Assist students with program and class selection, advising, and other academic needs.
  • Answer phones and emails in a customer-friendly professional manner.
  • Assist to register students for courses.
  • Follow up on student inquiries and complaints.
  • Proactively research, problem solve, and resolve issues in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Maintain student records and ensure accuracy of student data in University and department databases.
  • Complete section changes, password resets, and other student and course-related requests.
  • Assist students in navigating online courses and basic Internet navigation.
  • Develop and maintain rapport and communications with students, faculty, staff, instructors, and vendors.
  • Process, scan, and file paperwork related to student documents.
  • Proactively identify and seek information that needs to be updated and submit it for updates to email templates, flyers, and other documents.
