About The Position
The Student Advisor position at Winthrop involves providing general office support for the Office of Student Services. The role includes performing reception duties, assisting individuals who contact or visit the office for various reasons such as changes of major, transfer credit approval, and advising information. The advisor will make appropriate referrals to the Coordinator, Director, or other offices as necessary. Additionally, the position requires processing and distributing student forms and information to the appropriate offices or individuals, assisting with new student orientation, and providing general office support.
