About The Position

Are you passionate about education and helping others transform their lives? As an Admissions Representative at our El Paso campus, you are the face of Pima Medical Institute. You will play a crucial role in connecting with prospective students, understanding their career aspirations, and guiding them toward the educational programs that will launch their professional healthcare futures. The ideal representative can: Consult and build trusting relationships with a diverse community. Provide expert educational guidance. Demonstrate a genuine passion for higher education and student outcomes. Collaborate seamlessly with students, families, and campus departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Three (3) years of education sales, admissions, or recruitment experience. (Private, proprietary school experience is a plus).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain trusting professional relationships.
  • An equivalent combination of training, education, or experience that meets the minimum qualifications will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively recruit prospective students through inbound/outbound calls, emails, and texts.
  • Represent PMI at El Paso area job fairs, career fairs, and high school visits to build a robust applicant pipeline.
  • Initiate contact with leads from marketing campaigns to provide immediate guidance and program information.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews to determine a student's fit for specific academic programs and career goals.
  • Explain program details, admissions requirements, and the enrollment process, ensuring all inquiries are handled with clarity.
  • Manage the applicant experience from initial contact through the first day of class, ensuring a seamless and supportive transition.
  • Facilitate communication between Financial Aid and Student Services to ensure student eligibility and readiness.
  • Utilize the CRM database to input applicant information and update statuses accurately and promptly.
  • Monitor and analyze recruitment statistics (enrollments, starts, contacts) to consistently meet or exceed monthly goals.
  • Ensure full compliance with all PMI standards, federal/state laws, and accreditation requirements (e.g., Department of Education).
