About The Position

Student Worker Job Duties - Department of Counselor Education · Provide front-desk and administrative support for the Counseling Department · Serve as a professional point of contact for students, faculty, and external partners via email, phone, and in-person inquiries · Assist with scheduling meetings, trainings, and clinical-related activities · Support faculty with preparation of course materials, syllabi, and Canvas learning management system (LMS) content as needed · Maintain confidential student records and departmental files in compliance with FERPA and ethical standards (current online records and archiving old records). · Assist with data entry, tracking, and organization related to practicum, internship, and clinical placements · Support accreditation, assessment, and reporting efforts (e.g., compiling documents, organizing data) · Assist with onboarding materials for new students, adjunct faculty, or supervisors · Help coordinate department events such as orientations, workshops, site supervisor trainings, and student meetings · Proofread departmental communications, forms, and informational materials · Assist with basic research support tasks (e.g., literature searches, formatting references) as assigned · Perform clerical tasks including copying, scanning, filing, and document preparation · Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive or clinical-related information · Complete other related duties as assigned to support departmental operations
