This job is no longer available

There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.

The PAC needs to fill a temporary access assistant position for someone to attend class on the Hammond campus beginning next week to live-stream classes for a PNW student who is unable to come to campus for medical reasons. The position pays $12 per hour, and the PAC will provide the laptop/IPAD for this use. The student would need to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the class to make sure that there is time to get the equipment set up. Using the laptop/IPAD, the access assistant will turn on zoom for the student and ensure the student is able to hear the lecture and see the professor and any materials being shown. If the class is working in small groups, the zoom monitor will take the zoom camera to the assigned group and ensure that the student is able to participate. If the student desires to ask questions or comment during whole class times, the zoom monitor will read the student's questions or comments aloud. For small group activities the zoom monitor will ensure the group can hear the student so they can participate with the group themselves.
