Responsibilities include setting up and validating jigs and other tooling setups, performing close tolerance drilling and installations in critical aircraft structural areas, and using calibrated precision measuring tools. The position also involves the installation and removal of various fasteners and working with materials such as CFRP, aluminum, and titanium for structural drilling, sanding, trimming, and shimming.
