About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering
• 3–5 years of experience developing and releasing technical designs at the vehicle program level
• Experience taking designs from concept through physical hardware integration
• Structural hardware design, including welded assemblies (preferred)
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Understanding of welding techniques and structural fabrication requirements
• Experience with RCCA methodologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work full-time on-site
• Ability to travel as required
• Ability to support up to 10% overtime, as needed

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Siemens NX, VIS, and/or Creo
• Familiarity with Teamcenter (PLM)

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detail hardware and welded assembly designs supporting Hull and Turret Structures
• Create and mature design concepts using 3D CAD modeling tools
• Ensure designs meet technical requirements, cost, and schedule objectives
• Collaborate within cross-functional program teams to support system-level performance
• Work with drafting to transition concepts into production-ready models and drawings
• Oversee release of hardware models and engineering prints
• Support manufacturing during fabrication, integration, and vehicle installation (prototype and production)
• Provide technical support for testing and verification activities
• Lead or support Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations on structural hardware issues
