About The Position

Dewberry is seeking a responsible, highly motivated, and detail oriented individual to join our structures department in Rancho Cordova, CA as a Structures Engineer (Bridge) . The successful candidate will be part of a team designing simple and complex bridges (primarily of concrete and steel construction) and a variety of transportation related structures (retaining walls, culverts, sign structures, and other miscellaneous structures). The candidate will be involved in the development of Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) packages, field inspections, and performing construction design support services. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited 4-year engineering college
5+ years of experience in bridge and retaining wall projects
Experience designing transportation related structures projects to Caltrans and local agency standards
Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications with Caltrans Amendments
Proficiency using CADD (AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred)
Strong leadership skills and desire to deliver the highest quality projects to our clients
Proficient in MS Office (WORD and EXCEL)
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree is preferred
California Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred
Preference for knowledge of CTBridge, CSiBridge, VBent, CTAbut, LPile, and/or similar analysis programs
