About The Position

Hermeus is a high-speed aircraft manufacturer focused on the rapid design, build, and test of high-Mach and hypersonic aircraft for the national interest. Working directly with the Department of Defense, Hermeus delivers capabilities that will ensure that our nation, and our allies, maintain an asymmetric advantage over any and all potential adversaries. As a Structures Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and delivery of primary and secondary aircraft structures for hypersonic vehicles. You will own hardware from early trade studies through detailed design, manufacturing, integration, and flight test, working closely with propulsion, aerothermal, manufacturing, and test teams. This role requires strong fundamentals in structural design, comfort operating in ambiguous problem spaces, and the ability to move quickly while maintaining engineering discipline.
