About The Position

Orrick’s Tax team is seeking a hardworking associate with transactional tax experience for our New York office. We are looking for a dedicated team player who thrives in managing multiple deals and is eager to contribute to a collegial group. Experience in the tax aspects of CLOs and other structured finance transactions is preferable. Membership to the State Bar of New York is required. Orrick’s tax group advises on a range of tax matters involving high-value transactions. The Tax Group works closely with Orrick’s structured finance group, which advises on the industry's most innovative transactions and is a structured finance powerhouse. The Orrick Tax and Structured Finance Groups take bespoke approaches to the structuring, execution of asset-backed securities, including esoteric ABS, as well as CLOs, repackagings, re-securitizations, and other financings.

Requirements

• 4 - 7 years of experience.
• Candidates must be highly motivated and possess excellent academic credentials along with superior communication skills.
• Membership to the State Bar of the office of the state in which the candidate expects to be located is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the tax aspects of CLOs and other structured finance transactions is preferable.
