Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, concentration in Math, Economics, Finance, Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
  • Knowledge of Excel, VBA, Intex Dealmaker, Intex Desktop.
  • Previous structured finance and financial modeling experience.
  • Financial industry experience (Investment Bank, Asset Management, Accounting Firm or Rating Agency).
  • Ability to be resourceful and multitask within the fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to clearly/concisely communicate and summarize complex concepts to various audiences.
  • Securities licenses required - SIE, Series 7, 79 & 63.

Responsibilities

  • Providing support to senior team members related to the origination, structuring, and execution of transactions within the Structured Finance Group.
  • Assisting in the preparation of marketing materials for existing and prospective clients, including analysis of reporting models and data.
  • Resourcefully leverage various information sources to help contribute to group's understanding of market trends, deal comparisons, and structural recommendations.
  • Reviewing and commenting on deal-related documentation.
  • Understanding of and ability to provide deal-based analysis using internal rating and returns models.
  • Preparation and presentation of deal-related briefing memos, credit applications, and other materials to applicable internal credit and commercial decision makers.
  • Providing analysis that contributes to client recommendations on structural terms for the CLO business.
  • Leveraging analysis to help provide marketing materials for existing and prospective CLO clients.
  • Building and analyzing structures that conform to the rating agency criteria.
  • Working with accounting firms to tie out the cash flows and with investors to explain structural features.
  • Utilizing Intex Dealmaker to build DMS and CDI files provided to investors and issuers.
  • Building out cashflow models for various securitizations using rating agency criteria.
