Structured Finance Analyst

The Structured Finance Analyst will assist in the facilitation, contractual and logistical process of non-agency securitizations as well as mortgage servicing rights securitizations. In addition, the candidate will participate in cash management initiatives, liquidity forecasting, reporting, and analytics. The Structured Finance Analyst will: Understand general concepts of structured finance including agency and non-agency securitizations, mortgage servicing rights securitizations and warehouse financings Assist with transactions while fostering internal and external client relationships and business growth Ensure smooth and timely settlement of transactions Execute any remediation required based on findings from in-process and post due diligence quality control audits Support financing and capital strategy formulation Assist with cash balances, secured revolving facilities, and warehouse lines to ensure liquidity, compliance with lender and regulatory requirements, and to minimize interest and fee expenses Successfully coordinate across all areas of PennyMac (i.e. Legal, Servicing, Investor Accounting, etc.) Perform other related duties as required and assigned Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Finance or related field
- Ability to write well, think critically and develop practical solutions
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret, comment on and negotiate legal documents
- Candidate must be detail-oriented due to the significant and immediate financial impact on valuation/pricing/trading
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Excellent presentation and organizational skills; ability to collaborate, manage and expand relationships across the organization and with all levels of management
Responsibilities
