About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Welder to support fabrication operations in a safety-sensitive environment. The Structural Welder will perform structural welds using GMAW and FCAW processes, set up and calibrate welding equipment, and operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and automated machinery while meeting rigorous safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year welding experience or welding school graduate
• Ability to set up, evaluate, and operate various welding and cutting systems such as: – Oxygen/fuel gas cutting equipment – Plasma cutting systems – AC/DC welding equipment
• Must pass the required welding qualification test

Responsibilities

• Perform structural fabrication welding using GMAW and FCAW
• Calibrate welding equipment per WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications)
• Execute fillet , tack , and full-penetration welds on steel structural joints
• Clean and grind materials as part of post-weld finishing
• Set up welding equipment for multiple welding positions
• Safely operate overhead cranes , forklifts , pallet jacks , dollies , trucks, and automated machinery
• Inspect welds and fabricated components for defects and ensure compliance with specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures
• Maintain professionalism and immediately report defects or equipment issues
