About The Position

The Welder position provides wire feed structural welding support for the Facility. The job requires daily manufacturing responsibilities that are expected to be carried out with minimal supervision. Some job requirements are set in a team environment while others may be left to the individual to prioritize and schedule. A good working relationship is required with both office and factory employees.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a 3f and 4f weld test using GMAW process on 3/8" material
• Good verbal communication skills with other employees
• Positive attitude
• Open minded with a vision for continuous improvement
• Ability to understand weld symbols and testing requirements
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to read tape measure to 1/16th inch
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs when necessary
• Ability to step over and work on top of fixture that are 28 inches off the floor when necessary

Responsibilities

• Experience welding structural steel members using (mig) wire feed processes
• Ability to understand weld symbols and testing requirements
• Understand and follow proper safety instructions
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Experienced in 3f and 4f position welding
• Other duties may be added as needed by supervision
