About The Position

Servtech, A Roeslein Company, is seeking a dedicated Structural Welder II to join our dynamic team at our manufacturing facility. We are seeking an individual who is committed to performing high-quality work safely, pays close attention to detail, and has a strong focus on customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Requirements

A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required.
A good motor vehicle record is required.
A minimum of two years of welding is preferred.
Advanced level ability to read prints and tape measurements
Meets all Structural Welder I requirements consistently.
Must be consistently executing high-quality FCAW and GMAW welds.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
Ability to work flexible hours including overtime.
Must adhere to the Company’s attendance policy.

Responsibilities

Must be able to pass a welding test setup as well as able to pass the AWS D 1.1. certification requirements.
Consistently weld structural carbon steel in 1F and 3F fillet welding using FCAW and GMAW.
Must have great attention to detail to examine work pieces for defects and measure for accuracy.
Must follow verbal directions, training, and procedures
Basic knowledge of layout, positioning, and aligning before assembly.
Ability to operate welders, hand and power tools, forklift, and overhead crane safely and follow Servtech Safety Procedures and Policies.
Must have the knowledge to train a Structural Welder I.
Consistently weld structural carbon steel in 1F, 3F and 4F fillet weld using FCAW and GMAW.
Must have great attention to detail to examine work pieces for defects and measure for accuracy.
Must follow verbal directions, training, and procedures.
Must follow training and company procedures
Must be a leader who represents the organization with the ability to be a liaison to our customers, adhere to company standards, and resolve issues with urgency and professionalism.
Must follow good housekeeping practices.
Must comply with Roeslein & Servtech’s core values for the safe and efficient operation of the business and the commitment to maintain respectful relationships with all employees.
Performs all work in compliance with company standards, does not deviate from policies and procedures, and adheres to regulatory requirements.
Safety is essential at Servtech and all safety training classes must be completed with a 100% pass rate.

Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
Performs other duties as assigned.
