The Role Thornton Tomasetti's Structural practice is looking to further grow our Structures group in Central Florida. We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to manage multiple projects from concept to construction. With TT’s infrastructure, technology, and senior-level support, this group is positioned for growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer in Florida.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within Florida.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • SI License is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the direction, coordination, planning, organization, integration, and completion of engineering projects within the area of assigned responsibility.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through strategic partnerships, market research, and client relationship management to drive revenue growth and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Communicate with clients to understand project requirements.
  • Plan and formulate engineering program and organize project staff according to project requirements, managing nad supervising the work of engineers and draft persons.
  • Perform analysis and design of structural systems for all types of buildings and materials using various building codes.
  • Engineer of record for our Tampa-based structures projects.
