The position is with Nucor Building Systems Texas located in Terrell, TX. The primary responsibilities include safely operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and other equipment as needed. The role involves learning various structural line positions such as paint line, plate shag, tack-up, seamer, and iron worker. Candidates will be required to read and interpret shop drawings and perform tasks as directed by the Line Supervisor and/or the Line Group Leader. Understanding order processing, including shop releases and run orders, is also essential. Safety is emphasized as the most important aspect of all jobs within Nucor, and candidates must demonstrate the ability to uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
