About The Position

The position involves representing the company in a positive and professional manner while ensuring safe and timely production and shipping services that meet or exceed customer expectations. The role requires a strong focus on safety, communication, and coordination with various departments to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety by example and ensure safe work habits in all situations.
• Create a safe work environment by identifying and eliminating hazards and unsafe acts.
• Pursue employee accountability and involvement in safety practices.
• Work with Plant Manager and Shipping Manager to coordinate all production and shipping activities.
• Plan, forecast, and manage safe and efficient parts flow and quality processing through the production and shipping process.
• Prioritize the shop schedule with the Plant Manager to meet necessary delivery dates.
• Periodically review all processes, equipment, and materials for cost, quality, and productivity improvements.
• Communicate effectively with Management, Project Managers, Shop supervisors, and department employees.
• Track all blue letters/red letters to ensure critical items are delivered timely and appropriately identified on the shipping schedule.
• Communicate with management to resolve issues and make timely business decisions for safe and on-time deliveries.
• Assist all fabrication shops with daily mark off.
• Coordinate with Detail Supervisor to ensure detail is shipped complete and as per the schedule to the appropriate shop and staging area.
• Responsible for oversight and management of shops on a day-to-day basis under the guidance of the Plant Manager.
