Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in construction preferred
  • Ability to travel if needed

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the performance of the steel erection subcontractor on a $10 million contract, ensuring alignment with project goals and contractual obligations.
  • Review and approve subcontractor payment applications based on verified progress and deliverables.
  • Monitor and coordinate project scheduling to ensure timely execution of steel erection activities.
  • Review and provide feedback on shop drawings and pick plans to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Coordinate painting schedules and ensure seamless integration with erection and delivery activities.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety protocols and quality control/quality assurance (QC/QA) standards throughout steel erection operations.
  • Manage logistics related to steel delivery and site access, including access road planning and coordination to support efficient and safe operations.
